About Us:
Westmoreland County Industrial Development Authority (“WCIDA”) is a public instrumentality created by Westmoreland County January 22, 1968, under the authority of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Law, Act of August 23, 1967, P.L. 251, as amended. WCIDA assists economic development, job creation and growth through sponsorship of various commercial and industrial projects for both non-profit and for-profit enterprises. WCIDA’s current existence extends to May 24, 2066. WCIDA has no taxing power.
The governing body of WCIDA is a Board of nine members. Members are appointed by the Westmoreland County Commissioners. The present members of the WCIDA Board are:
