Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland (EGC) is a private, non-profit economic development corporation formed in January 2000. EGC is membership-based and governed by a board of directors comprised of business leaders and educators who are deeply invested in the long-term success of the region. Together, they provide strategic direction and insight to support sustainable economic development.

Economic Growth Connection works in cooperation with governmental agencies, chambers of commerce, and financial institutions to support emerging and expanding companies throughout Westmoreland County. EGC also offers guidance and assistance to companies considering a location in the region, helping them navigate site selection, financing opportunities, workforce needs, and available resources.
