The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development will open the Local Share Account Category 4 Facilities Grant Program to applications on July 1, 2026. Start preparing now!
The LSA Category 4 program is an opportunity for non-profit organizations to apply for needed funds for construction costs, infrastructure, machinery and equipment costs, and more. Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland (EGCW) is an authorized economic development agency eligible to apply on behalf of non-profits to access these funds.
What is LSA?
The Category 4 Facilities Grant Program distributes funds from casino gaming revenue to Westmoreland County organizations for economic and community development projects that improve the quality of life of citizens in the community. A non-profit can use the funds for:
- Land and/or building acquisition.
- Construction, demolition, and infrastructure improvements.
- Vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- And more!

- Required application form. Complete in its entirety and submit all required attachments no later than Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

Please note this program is highly competitive and incomplete applications or applications with missing information may delay or prevent your project from being reviewed.
